After selling and delivering my $3000 electric guitar to the buyer, reverb promised that I would be paid within 1 to 4 days. It’s been over two weeks with no payment – I’m getting ready to call my lawyer!

For an approved return, an email was sent to me to provide a shipping label. The label was to appear as an attachment.

But for some reason, the attachment could not be displayed. The order number was #6861.

Actually, I never talked to a real person. Initially,from Reverb.

Com. I related my situation in some detail and wanted the order #. I was then sent to the pissed customer site. I related my situation in writing again, but never got a person to talk to.

A bit later, I received an email saying they would consider my request and email me back within 24 hours. A few hours ago, I received the email that would offer a refund with a return. I'm very much appreciate the communication. Because of the reception I received from you company, I will be very much inclined to more business with.

Thank your for your concern and your response.

I need a replacement for the Kurzwiel micro piano that I have to return; if one is available in one of your stores. Thank you.

I sold a pedal steel guitar for $3250.00. It had been listed for about 4 weeks.

I received an offer from a guy that wanted to purchase outside of Reverb. I declined that way( yep I guess I'm an idiot). Well the guy finally took the hint after 3 tries. He purchased the steel, and I was ordered to ship it out immediately for payment process to start up...?

Well it was shipped on a Saturday using my dime or really $205, I got a tracking number. The delivery was made on Thursday afternoon. Clearly stated delivered on Reverb's page and I was sent a delivery made notification. I have not received any money at all, just jump through a few hundred hoops and we all are just as clueless aterwards.

WOW, Great companies we have ripping us off in America daily. There is absolutely No way at all to contact a live human being, obviously the plan all along. I sincerely hate when private equity shitholes take over a once great company. This abomination of a company Also owns Fender music and a few other

Never again will I use this sorry excuse of a company for anything! I'm going to make sure every musician that i know to sell and buy elsewhere! I'm so pissed off, that i can't talk to a live person representing Reverb. They actively make it so no one can reach them God damned thieves.

They use our money to draw interest and make other shady dealings while we can flap in the wind. SCREW RETURD.STAY AWAY 8F YOU LIKE YOUR MONEY

Bad Excuse for "Customer Service"

The phone number that has been posted for Reverb customer service is only a recorded message that instructs you to chat (with a robot) on the website, which is the only way (and a disappointing one at that) to contact them. Only after running the gauntlet of non-applicable questions for 10-15 minutes will the robot allow you to transfer to a real person, and then you have to wait another 10 or more minutes for a live person to log on.

In my case, that person seemed keen to help but kept referring back to a prior sale, telling me several times over the course of two days that the issue had been taken care of and I'd made a refund (which I did voluntarily with that particular sale because the item wasn't working correctly just before shipping). His remarks had nothing to do with the item I was trying to get help with, and I explained that to him several times.

This company is owned by Etsy, so it's no wonder they make it hard to talk in person. They want the two parties to work things out with no (or as little as possible) assistance from Etsy (Reverb). A major problem is that all communication has to go through Reverb. Multiple email threads can and do happen between the parties through Reverb, a practice which Reverb should curb. So if the sale has been made but communication has somehow broken down between the parties due to confusion, and through no fault of their own, Reverb needs to be quicker to step in and help.

Preferred solution: Some cooperation to expedite a transaction that was paid for but hasn't been picked up.

My purchases were without issues overall. As it’s turned out my sale went well,just a glitch with regards to the time receiving payment.

The buyer received my guitar 4 days ago in perfect condition. Very happy.

No payment disbursed yet. Theres no reason for this. All legitimacy has been proven. The funds are being held at this point without reason.

Ive gotten stonewalled with the same excuses over and over again!

Im not about to give this guitar away for free. I will take action if payment isnt disbursed by tomorrow !!!

I have been waiting for over a month to be paid for a refund that was taken from my account and a damage claim for my product that was returned destroyed. Their customer service is a joke.

There is no phone number to call; instead, they force you to communicate via email, and you will wait for days just to get a reply but get no solution. I am seriously considering legal action at this point.
