Frustration for a mistake *** mafde
- Partial refund before payment arrived caused overdrafts and auto-pay fees; no live support, chats end mid-response, payment unpaid after two weeks.
Reverb, issued a partial refund before I ever received payment for the guitar. It caused my bank account to be overdrawn and caused several overdrawn charges from other people that are on auto monthly payments .
$40 dollar fee for each one
And you CANNOT TALK TO A LIVE PERSON ON TELEPHONE!!!( I could call eBay and Gear Exchange and talk to a live person RIGHT NOW, if Ihave an issue.
I Still havent received the payment for the item yet-2 weeks now-and when I chat with them (6 times Ive tried!! they say it is under review and then end the chat while Im typing a response.
Very frustrating..
I doubt if the REAL person I am chatting with is even a real person and not just AI. ***

I sold a pedal to a punk on June 6 and he asked on June 8, after I had put it in the outgoing box but before the post office picked it up, if he could cancel it because it wouldn't fit on his pedalboard. I managed to get it so it wasn't picked up, but told him if I couldn't get a refund for the shipping label I bought from the post office, I would not refund that amount or any fees Reverb charged me.
I will post our complete conversation at the end of this review.
Reverb has emailed me asking me to cancel the order and has offered to give me 1% in promotion fees if I will do this for them.
Why should I follow all the rules and he doesn't have to? Good question. If anyone has an answer, let me know.
I have twice the number of 5 star reviews as this punk. And I'm the one getting the shaft by ***.

I just managed to save it from leaving. It was in the outgoing box. I will cancel the order but I will not refund the shipping label I already bought if I cant get it reimbursed to me.
I also will not refund the fees that Reverb charges. If you have the opportunity to leave me feedback, I expect it will be excellent since I am doing something I dont have to do. I am very disappointed that you didnt check fits before you bought it. But it is past us and I will just let it go and try to resell it.
I will refund when the amount gets to my account.

Tracking issue
Not sure I'm trying to track a delivery for a guitar ***, and it says that don't have that tracking number.
Fraudulent charge
- A scammer posed as UPS and issued a bogus add-on charge for two guitars.
- Reverb paid the scammers, and the customer disputes the charge.
Someone posing as UPS sent you a bill as an add-on charge to a two guitars that were shipped. The guitars were weighed at ups They said they did not charge an extra $250 per guitar for two guitars that were mailed to a customer.
Apparently reverb did not know it was a bogus scam and sent money to these scammers.
We should not be responsible. We are going to take action against you.
Clarification re speaker price, individual or pair?
It was impossible to talk with a sales person to clarify a simple question about a product I was interested in buying. The AI chat bot Reverb is employing is terrible. I have no choice but to purchase elsewhere.

Malfunction with needed refund.

For an approved return, an email was sent to me to provide a shipping label. The label was to appear as an attachment.
But for some reason, the attachment could not be displayed. The order number was #6861.
Com. I related my situation in some detail and wanted the order #. I was then sent to the pissed customer site. I related my situation in writing again, but never got a person to talk to.
A bit later, I received an email saying they would consider my request and email me back within 24 hours. A few hours ago, I received the email that would offer a refund with a return. I'm very much appreciate the communication. Because of the reception I received from you company, I will be very much inclined to more business with.

Not paid after buyer delivery 2 weeks ago
After selling and delivering my $3000 electric guitar to the buyer, reverb promised that I would be paid within 1 to 4 days. It’s been over two weeks with no payment – I’m getting ready to call my lawyer!
I sold my 73 telecaster deluxe and delivered it to the buyer over 10 days ago. He did receive it and I have not yet been paid - where is my money!?

I received an offer from a guy that wanted to purchase outside of Reverb. I declined that way( yep I guess I'm an idiot). Well the guy finally took the hint after 3 tries. He purchased the steel, and I was ordered to ship it out immediately for payment process to start up...?
Well it was shipped o a Saturday my dime or really $205, I got a tracking number. The delivery was made on Thursday afternoon. Clearly stated on ***'s page and I was sent a delivery made notification. I have not received any money at all, just jup through a few hundred hoops and we all are just as clueless.

- Phone support is a recorded message directing to chat, then long wait for live agent who cites prior sale/refund; all contact goes through Reverb.
The phone number that has been posted for Reverb customer service is only a recorded message that instructs you to chat (with a robot) on the website, which is the only way (and a disappointing one at that) to contact them. Only after running the gauntlet of non-applicable questions for 10-15 minutes will the robot allow you to transfer to a real person, and then you have to wait another 10 or more minutes for a live person to log on.
In my case, that person seemed keen to help but kept referring back to a prior sale, telling me several times over the course of two days that the issue had been taken care of and I'd made a refund (which I did voluntarily with that particular sale because the item wasn't working correctly just before shipping). His remarks had nothing to do with the item I was trying to get help with, and I explained that to him several times.
This company is owned by Etsy, so it's no wonder they make it hard to talk in person. They want the two parties to work things out with no (or as little as possible) assistance from Etsy (Reverb). A major problem is that all communication has to go through Reverb. Multiple email threads can and do happen between the parties through Reverb, a practice which Reverb should curb. So if the sale has been made but communication has somehow broken down between the parties due to confusion, and through no fault of their own, Reverb needs to be quicker to step in and help.

Preferred solution: Some cooperation to expedite a transaction that was paid for but hasn't been picked up.
